Trail Description Combined with Rocky Gap/Whetstone trails in SC and GA, Willis Knob offers over 30 miles of scenic wooded trails in the Southern Blue Ridge Mtns. These trails travel and and cross the Chattoga River and many small streams. Good watering spots for horses. These trails may not be suitable for beginners due to the river crossings and some steep, rocky grades. River crossings can be deep at times after heavy rains. Use caution and good sense!! Shoes are definitely required for horses.
